The role of Theatre in education is mandatory. It delivers important messages that are easily understood and remembered. Theatre in education encourages young people to develop inquiry skills. Theatre art is included in B.Ed. curriculum. They see results from the positive impact it can have on our future generation. Theatre education is a process that uses interactive theatre/drama practices to help aid the educational process.

Motion pictures being one of the most influential media for the upliftment of sociocultural status of the society, it requires special focus in finding growing talents of this field. Film Club of MES Training College was started with this view. The Club conducts film related awareness among its members and conducts seminars, competitions, workshops, film screening etc. The main objective of the club is to draw students towards an active involvement in the Film/Theatre Club through continued activities and competitions. The events were intended not only to expand their knowledge in the field of cinematography and associated science, but also to impart a cultural value as well as an obligation towards the society they live in.
